Create automations with an AI strategy
Use a recommendation or Sidekick prompt to build a workflow, then review its messages, timing and setup.
In this article you will build and review an automation strategy for a specific customer journey.
Before you start
- Brand identity set up, so the generated emails use your logo and colors.
Steps
- On Home, choose a recommended automation or describe your goal in the AI prompt area. For example: “Welcome new subscribers with an email and an SMS follow-up.”
- Follow the recommendation or Sidekick flow to choose the automation type and starting point.
- In the strategy setup, review the email and SMS steps, waiting times and conditions. Add your logo and configure the discount when those steps are shown.
- Complete any permission or widget setup requested for that workflow.
- Open the resulting automation. Review the content, recipients and status before enabling it. Use its logs to check the journey after launch.
You can also ask Shopify Sidekick (the assistant in your Shopify admin) to create or edit Sendvio automations. It opens the same screens inside the app.
