Create a popup
Start from a template, adjust the design and the offer, choose when it appears, and publish it to your store.
In this article you will publish a popup that collects email or SMS subscribers.
Before you start
- A discount code in Shopify if you want to offer one. You can also let the app create a unique code per subscriber.
Steps
- Open Popups → Create popup and choose a template.
- In the visual editor, design the Initial form and Success message. Set the content, styling and fields you want to collect.
- Preview the form on desktop and mobile. Check the success message and any incentive instructions.
- Open the popup’s workflow to configure targeting, display rules and follow-up email or SMS. The workflow and visual editor have different roles.
- Complete any storefront setup shown in the app, then publish or enable the popup. Test it on a page and device that match its rules.
Wait 5 to 8 seconds before showing the popup. Showing it immediately is the main reason visitors close it without reading.
Try these steps in Sendvio
