How SMS credits work
Texts are paid with credits. What a text costs depends on its length and the destination country.
In this article you will estimate what your SMS campaigns will cost.
Steps
- Check your SMS balance in Settings → Billing and usage. Open Buy credits to review the available packs and purchase details.
- A message can use more than one SMS segment. Longer messages and some characters can change the segment count.
- Use the estimate in the SMS editor for your actual message, especially after adding personalization, links or emojis.
- Review rates for the destination countries and confirm which countries are enabled in SMS sender identity → Countries.
- Check the audience and estimated cost before sending. Afterward, use sending logs to investigate failures or skipped recipients.
Try these steps in Sendvio
