Set up SMS order notifications
Send customers a text when their order is confirmed, shipped or delivered. These are set up as their own automation.
In this article you will choose which order events send a text and customize the messages.
Before you start
- An approved SMS sender (Settings → SMS sender identity).
- SMS credits.
Steps
- Open Automations → Transactional SMS notifications. To create one, choose Create automation → Transactional SMS and select a template.
- Turn on the events you want to text about: order confirmed, order shipped, out for delivery, delivered.
- Click each message to edit the text. You can include the order number and tracking link.
- Turn the automation On.
Keep order updates relevant to the selected event. Check the recipient requirements and sender verification shown in the app before enabling sending.
Try these steps in Sendvio
