How sales are attributed to your messages

"Sales" on a campaign or automation means orders placed shortly after someone opened or clicked it.

In this article you will understand where the sales numbers come from.

Steps

  1. When a subscriber opens or clicks a message and then places an order within the attribution window, that order is counted as a sale from that message.
  2. The window is a number of days you choose in Settings → Attribution window. A shorter window is stricter; a longer one gives credit to messages that took longer to work.
  3. Use the same attribution window and reporting period when comparing Sendvio campaign and automation results.
  4. Numbers will not match Shopify's total sales exactly. They show the part of your sales your messages helped with.

Try these steps in Sendvio
